Mar 17, 2019Siblings Keith L. Kelley, 6, Keyondre L. Kelley, 5, and Keyanna F. Kelley, 3, died Feb. 26 after a fire was reported around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning at their family’s residence in the Maple Grove Communities mobile home park off South Almont Avenue. Imlay City police Officer Sara Colin discovered the front of the family’s mobile home engulfed in flames. A woman on scene told her there were people still inside. Firefighters were able to enter the home and remove six people.One of the six removed included Keyairan J. Kelley, a 1-month-old girl. She died Wednesday, Feb. 27 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor after initially being listed in critical condition.The children’s parents, Keith L. Kelley, 42, and Krystal I. Whitney, 29, are both at Hurley Medical Center in Flint with severe burns. Keyshawn F. Kelley, 1, is at the Flint hospital being treated for severe burns to his back.Imlay City Police Chief Scott Pike said the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the department and Michigan State Police.
